'Captain America 3: Civil War' Spoilers & Release Date: First Trailer Out in October? [Rumors]
Marvel's superhero films have become such big blockbusters over the years that even though "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is yet to be released, fans are all ready for "Captain America: Civil War."
According to the International Business Times, "Age of Ultron" will be setting the tone for Tony Stark's and Captain America's relationship, and will provide as the groundwork for their conflict in "Civil War."
Robert Downey Jr., who plays Tony Stark AKA Iron Man in the Marvel films told Times of India: "There are really only two relationships in Tony's life in which he's been willing to assume a lower status and one's with Pepper obviously, equal footing, and the other is with Cap. It's always whoever does the job best should probably do that job and Tony's bringing a lot to the table and Cap has the most experience. It's also nice to feel like there's someone under whose tutelage you become better at what you have to do and no one's more battle-seasoned than Cap."
However, this brand of thinking will have to change considering that in "Civil War," Stark and the Captain will be leading opposing superhero teams in their civil war.
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a while for a glimpse of "Civil War" because the website noted that Marvel decided to forgo the 2015 San Diego Comic Con. However, there are rumors that there will be a Marvel Special Event in October that will likely showcase the rest of the films that they have planned. It is possible that the first trailer for "Civil War" will be released at this time.
After all, they held a special event in October last year to announce "Captain America 3" and the rest of their "Phase 3" film lineup.
"Civil War" is set to begin filming in April, and Cinema Blend already released the film synopsis, which read, "Following the events of Age of Ultron, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man or Captain America, which causes an epic battle between former allies."
There's no way for sure how the comic book will play out in the film, but considering the success that Marvel films have gotten lately, fans can bet that this one will be intense. Are you ready for the big fight?
