A Mexican model and TV presenter is following Kim Kardashian's footsteps.

Jimena Sánchez, an anchor of Fox Sports, has been making a name for herself in the entertainment media world by having people dub her as the "Mexican Kim Kardashian," Fox News Latino reports.

The 30-year-old host has been gaining attention because of her sexy Instagram photos, majority of which bear a striking resemblance to the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star. According to Fox News Latino, Sánchez's pictures have appeared in articles in the United States, Europe, and even in China.

Check out some of Sánchez's photos below, taken from the photo sharing website.

"(All the attention) is very weird," the Mexican beauty told Fox News Latino on Wednesday. "I dedicate myself to other things, mainly talking about sports. Now they are comparing me to the Kardashians, which is not very far off because of the selfies."

She continued, "It's one of my favorite social medias because you don't have to write anything to share something. I like the attention and what I do. If I didn't like (taking pictures) I wouldn't be doing it."

As of this moment, Sánchez's Instagram followers has reached 371,000 in just a span of two days, while her official Facebook page now has 1 million likes. Her Twitter page, on the other hand, is also nearing 1 million followers.

Despite taking the comparison with Kardashian as a compliment, the Mexican TV presenter claims that she is not planning to dethrone the "Queen of Selfies," Fox News Latino wrote.

"I can say that I am a fan of Kim Kardashian. I watch the show and I think they are very smart," she told the news outlet. "They don't have any traditional talents - they don't act, sing or perform - but they have worked to make themselves a sort of an icon in America."

Even though the outpouring of attention over her Instagram photos is flattering, Sánchez also admitted that her job, which is reporting about sports, is still her favorite thing to do. According to the sports commentator, some of her favorite teams are the Los Angeles Lakers, the Oakland Raiders, and the Mexican soccer club Chivas, Fox News Latino noted.

"Although Mexico is a huge soccer country, I am a huge fan of baseball. I love the Yankees and also basketball and American football. It's what I love. I say I have the best job in the world," she said, as quoted by the news outlet. "When other girls went to college, I stayed home to watch sports. I am a sports commentator and I love what I do. I also have the liberty to take the pictures as well."
