‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 6 Episode 1 Premiere, Cast & Spoilers: More Revelations Coming? Marlene King Spills Details!
Fans of Pretty Little Liars can finally put the big question to rest. Charles DiLaurentis is A.
Now, if only everyone can be content with that little fact, then this will be over and done with, but unfortunately, there is no PLL fan who would just want the rest to be left unanswered and the Season 5 finale just finished with more questions than ever.
Series creator Marlene King spilled some details to Us Weekly, starting with the fact that the big reveal is just the beginning of the end for the story. She also said, "It's been a huge puzzle, a puzzle of a thousand pieces, and we're just a few pieces away from finishing the puzzle."
The show, which has been renewed for up to seven seasons, is now working on the sixth, and for now, according to King, the focus of the show is the momentum, to which she said, "The shotgun has gone off and we are racing to the finish line and it's just non-stop right now."
And while throughout the show the fans have been given one twist after another, that's also about to end, because they are already gunning for the end line, with the creator telling the magazine, "You know, I have often said we know who 'A' is but we take turns along the way so we don't get to the end of the road too quickly -- well, the turns are over! So we're on the straight line to the end of the road."
That does not mean that a straight line does not have secrets, though, because there will be a lot of reveals for season 6, and in the first ten episodes, Charles will be revealed. That will be a revelation in itself because the actor who plays Charles does not even know that's he's the puppet master!
King, also said, "You may have met Charles already! We're not saying that that is somebody you have not met in our world, you may or you may have not met him. But you'll find out the answer definitely in the next ten episodes."
King revealed additional plot information for the girls, and it includes a four-year-time jump that fans can expect to see by the end of season six. "It's really exciting I can't wait to see the girls after they come back from college. It's going to be awesome," king told E! News.
In the season finale from Tuesday night's episode, the girls, including Mona (Janel Parrish) were trapped in Charles's own dollhouse, and this is where we can expect to find them in season six. King spilled, "We will start next season right were we left off, with the girls trapped and they don't get out immediately... season six takes place in a very condensed period of time."
