WWE WrestleMania 31 Matches, Tickets & Predictions: 5 Things to Expect
With WrestleMania 31 set to happen on March 29, fans are already anticipating what the show will offer to the viewing public.
The biggest wrestling show of the year, according to WhatCulture, is expected to be just "okay" but some exciting additions and returns could make a difference in what the show will end up showcasing.
Below are the top expectations of the fans and the whole wrestling industry in the upcoming show:
* Return of Chris Jericho
The wrestler is rumored to be returning for WrestleMania 31 as WhatCulture noted that he does not need "a second invitation to make a WWE return." But it noted that he will be a perfect fit to the show which needed a lift especially on its undercard matches.
"The beauty of Jericho is that he can be inserted anywhere into a WWE card, supporting or opposing just about any wrestler, and his charisma makes it entirely plausible," WhatCulture added.
Y2J is being eyed to be a surprise fighter in the Andre Battle Royal.
* Sting to win versus Triple H
Digital Spy predicted that Triple H will not get his much-needed win as Sting is expected to slam his chances of getting a shot at him and put The Authority back in power.
* Model Amber Rose and an NBA champion conspiring with Goldust
Rose and Tracy Murray are believed to be brewing something for the event, well at least that's what their social media accounts reveal.
Inquistr said Rose seemed to have befriended Goldust on Twitter and the fighter seems to be responding, stirring some issues as well. If Goldust will fight at the event, Inquisitr said that he might end up taking on his brother Stardust (Cody Rhodes) but it also noted that this could be his last fight as his rumored retirement is already nearing.
* Appearance of The Rock
WhatCulture said the possibility of The Rock going back into the WWE is always anticipated by fans, though many of them have been frustrated because of his reduced performance last year. If in case he appears in WrestleMania31, WhatCulture said it would have something to do with Roman Reigns.
"Perhaps giving him (Reigns) a pep talk before the big match, maybe even interfering in a minor fashion," WhatCulture added.
* Brock Lesnar versus Roman Reigns
For the main fight of the night, Sports Illustrated said Reigns will beat Lesnar as the former will continue his winning streak after defeating Daniel Bryan in a number one contender's match at Fast Lane. The report noted that Reigns will soon be a WWE champion and end Lesnar's reign on the top.
Set to happen next week, WrestleMania will take place at the Levi's® Stadium. Tickets range from $35 to $1,000 per ticket.
