HTC One M10 Release Date, Specs, Features & Price: 27MP Dual Camera Coming? See the Best Concept Designs! [Rumors]
Unveiled at the recent Mobile World Congress, the HTC One M9 is believed to be another winner crafted by the Taiwanese manufacturer. Packing the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3 GB of RAM and a 2,840 mAh Quick Charging battery, the device has been reviewed by numerous tech outlets here, here and here.
According to BGR, HTC "outdoes itself each and every year." At this point, the grapevine has already produced details on an HTC One M10, which looks to be the next flagship, if we are to follow the One series' naming convention.
For an early perspective, we've peeked into the HTC One M10 rumor mills, so take each detail with a dose of salt. The device has not been confirmed by HTC, but nevertheless, here's how it's molded thus far:
Release Date
Before getting into specs and features, note that the One M10 is expected to arrive early next year, as predicted by htcm10one.com. The site has looked into previous One releases, even claiming, "Definitely there would be HTC One M10 release date in December 2015."
Design
What can we expect from the alleged flagship? Design-wise, htconeseries.com cited rumors, which claimed that the One M10 will be refined, slimmer and offer a "more metal build than its predecessors."
The One M9 is the company's attempt of establishing "timeless piece of design," CNET reported. HTC's Peter Chou said, "Sometimes, like in the car industry, you need to keep some of your signature DNA... Smartphones sometimes are moving too fast, and not really creating a timeless piece of design."
Camera
HTC is known for stuffing its smartphones with whopping amounts of megapixels, and for the One M10, htcm10one.com lists down a 27 MP dual-camera, front and rear. This is pegged to be supported by phase detection and auto-focus features.
Today's HTC One M9 packs a 20.7 MP main camera, capturing media at 5376 x 3752 pixels. Its front snapper, on the other hand, shoots at 4 MP.
Display
A 5-inch 2K or 4K display for the One M10 is expected by htcm10one.com. This may have not changed the One M9's screen size, but we're noticing an adjustment in resolution.
Processor
In terms of processor, htconem10.com expects a Qualcomm Snapdragon 812 processor, and this seems to be a clear upgrade from the device's predecessor.
Battery
A 3,200 mAh battery support is also expected by htconem10.com, supported by an instant charging feature. The HTC One M9, in comparison, owns a 2,840 mAh battery.
Price
As told by htconeseries.com, the expected launch price of the One M10 is "around $1000."
