'MLB 15: The Show' PS4 PS3 Trailer, Gameplay & Release Date: Top 5 Feature Improvements [Preorder]
Prior to the arrival of the Major League Baseball videogame, "MLB 15: The Show," the game has released new features that will surely make gameplay experience way better.
The game, according to Game Spot, will be launched on March 31 for Playstation 3, Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita. An all-new feature of this upcoming release, according to an Mstarz article, is its "impressive visual gameplay and new graphic features."
In a video released on YouTube, Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones unlocked one of the special features of the game, seasonal sun and shadows, which allows players to correct the position of the sun during the game. According to the Mstarz report, Jones swang for the pitch but he missed hitting the ball.
Explaining his failed move, Jones said: "All in my kitchen! This is why we don't necessarily like to play 4 o'clock games." He also said that based on how he played the game, he still needs more power.
Aside from this visual improvement, Game Spot said that the upcoming game release will also have special features in the following areas:
1. Gameplay improvements
MLB 15: The Show has an upgraded motion system which allows for dynamic speed matching from run to catch to throw. Game Spot added that the upcoming release also features a new situational base covering intelligence which gives players the chance to experience new animations.
2. Custom Controller Skins
According to Gaming Bolt, when players pre-order the PS4 version of "MLB 15: The Show," they will get a custom skin for their DualShock 4 controller. It added that the game will come with a code that will give buyers the chance to order a DualShock 4 skin which comes in different team colors. These incentives are offered by retailers such as Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Amazon and GameStop.

3. Directional Hitting Interface
This is a first-time feature in MLB 15. Game Spot said this feature allows players to influence the direction of their hits in real-time while they swing. Players can use the L-Stick to influence fly balls, ground balls, pushed hits, pulled hits or a combination of these.
4. Universal Rewards
When playing the "MLB 15: The Show," players can be rewarded by virtual baseball cards, licensed bats, gloves, batting gloves and cleats. Game Spot said there are also brand sponsorships for the franchise team that can earn the team extra income.
5. Legends
There are a total 30 legends which are playable in "MLB 15: The Show." Game Spot said players can collect an entire MLB team for them to unlock an iconic alumni player from that team.
