'Beauty and the Beast' Season 2 Episode 9 Spoilers: Will Vincent Die? [Video]

By Jessica Michele Herring | Nov 30, 2013

On the mid-season finale of "Beauty and the Beast," the gang tried to stop Reynolds from carrying out his assassination mission against Vincent.

In "Man or Beast?," Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Tori (Amber Skye Noyes) are about to be blown up by a bomb. Tori uses her beastly powers to break free of her bonds, and Vincent tells her that they'll track down whoever is trying to kill them. But when they meet in the middle of the room, it explodes.

Meanwhile, Gabe (Senhil Ramamurthy) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) have figured out that Reynolds (Ted Whittall) is the one behind the beast killings. Gabe and Cat both run to the scene, but Vincent is nowhere to be found.

When Cat gets to her apartment, she is shocked to find both Vincent and Tori. They were both able to escape the explosion, but Tori was wounded.

Gabe and J.T. (Austin Basis) explain to Cat and Tess (Nina Lisandrello) that they want to catch Reynolds by making him believe that Vincent and Tori are dead, and that they have incriminating evidence that links him to their deaths. But Reynolds has booked a flight to Geneva to escape the country, so they have to carry out their plan before his flight leaves.

Vincent's role in the plan is to track down the guy who kidnapped Tori and rigged the bomb, who Tori saw when he tied her up.

Cat and Gabe then meet with Reynolds at the FBI office, where they convince him that they have evidence regarding Vincent's handler. Then to make Reynolds feel even guiltier, Cat cries at the end of the visit and tells Reynolds that she doesn't know what she would do without him.

Meanwhile, Vincent and Tori find the bomber, but Tori ends up killing him. Tori reveals that she thought the plan to bring him back alive was stupid all along, and says she wants Reynolds dead. Cat and the gang are angry that she killed the bomber. Nevertheless, Tori tries to convince Vincent that they should kill Reynolds together.

The team then decides to use the bomb maker's phone to blackmail Reynolds. They send Reynolds a photo and a message from the phone, successfully threatening him.

Later, Reynolds doesn't catch his flight out of America; he meets with Gabe in a dark parking lot. Gabe proceeds to show them the fake evidence they have, but Reynolds thinks that Gabe is lying. Then he says that he should have killed Gabe too, giving them all the evidence they need to press charges against him.

Reynolds tries to get away, but Cat stands in front of his car, pointing at gun at his head. Just as she's driving him to the station, Vincent jumps onto the windshield, causing the car to crash. While Cat is passed out, Vincent tears Reynolds from the car and beats him, screaming "You did this to me!" Vincent tries to choke him to death, but Cat intervenes, telling him not to kill him.

He doesn't listen, so Cat shoots him, and he runs away. She thens points the gun at Reynolds, telling him again that he's under arrest.

As Reynolds sits in jail, Tori goes to Vincent, who is bandaging his wounds.

On the next episode, "Don't Die on Me," Cat will be interrogated and Vincent's life will be in jeopardy.

Watch the promo for "Don't Die on Me," which airs Monday, Jan. 13 at 9 p.m. on The CW.
