Maite Perroni & Koko Stambuk Wedding: 'La Gata' Star to Marry in Secret? [Rumors]
Are wedding bells about to ring soon for Maite Perroni and boyfriend Koko Stambuk?
According to a translated report from TVyNovelas magazine, the Mexican actress intends to marry her musician boyfriend Stambuk in a private ceremony in one of Mexico's beaches. She stated in the past that she plans to tie the knot with the Chilean artist, and it looks like that's about to come to fruition.
Latin Times reported that the wedding preparations of the "La Gata" star are underway, but a definite date for the event hasn't been set yet. However, the wedding is expected to take place by the end of the year.
Perroni's latest Univision telenovela, "La Gata," concluded on February 13, a separate report from Latin Times stated. The show also starred Daniel Arenas as Pablo, Perroni's love interest, and Laura Zapata as Lorenza, the villain intent to destroy Esmeralda and Pablo's love because the two came from different worlds.
"La Gata" was based on a Venezuelan novela titled "Rubí Rebelde" by Perla Farias, the news outlet wrote.
In an interview with "Sabado Gigante" host Don Francisco, Perroni said that she really enjoyed working in "La Gata" alongside her co-stars.
"I've really enjoyed this project," the 32-year-old actress said, as quoted by a report from Latin Post. "It's a project that has really let me enjoy the essence of the character in an authentic location, a location that has given the story a lot of life."
Perroni added that El Borde de Xochiaca, which is a landfill in Mexico, got the cast members "in the right mentality," Latin Post wrote. Arenas, she insisted, was also a "great companion" and that she was "fortunate" to have worked with him. The two are great friends behind the camera.
She added, "The truth is that it's been an honor to work by his side because he's respectful, a gentleman, educated, committed. We make a good team. You can work really easily with him because we were both 100 percent committed to the project and we had a nice friendship."
Anahí, Manuel Velasco Wedding Update
Anahí, another Mexican actress and singer, is also about to tie the knot soon. According to another report from Latin Times, the "Rebelde" star is set to marry Chiapas governor Manuel Velasco in April. Ana Gabriel is expected to sing "Ave Maria" in the religious ceremony.
Anahí posted a sneak peek of her wedding gown on Instagram as requested by her fans. In the photo, she was seen among a group of women holding up pieces of fabric meant for her dress.
