‘WWE 2K15: NXT Arrival’ Download, Gameplay & Price: DLC & Update Out Now
Former WWE champion John Bradshaw Layfield, aka JBL, is now available as part of the newest downloadable package of the WWE 2K15 game, boasting a reinforcement of superstars and divas.
With him in the NXT Arrival downloadable content (DLC) are Adam Rose, The Ascension and Emma, noted IGN.com. All of them are now ready to move from the developmental branch free with the Season Pass and for $7 as a separate purchase.
The new DLC comes with updates for the game on PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, addressing issues like crashing, audio, and character creation, the report added.
WWE 2K15 published in detail the improvements for the DLC and the preceding one that would ease it in, including one addressing a soft-crash that occurs to PS4 unites that are booting the game without Internet connection, categorized as a "major fix."
There are about 30 fixes, some addressing gameplay, online activity, visuals, and more.
A gameplay improvement to the tag team match details that "if the player first knocks the legal man's partner off the apron, that partner should stay down longer and allow the player more time to attempt a successful pin against the legal man."
Visual improvements made a Superstar realistic by increasing the likelihood of bleeding when an object strikes him, among others. On creating stars, glasses will no longer be deformed when worn with a hat.
Animation warps and inaudible 3 count were also ironed out.
"The crowd will now correctly chant 'Yes!' during Daniel Bryan's entrance," noted WWE 2K15.
That's how detailed the WWE 2K15 team is becoming.
This reinforcement comes just weeks before "Wrestlemania 31" hits TV screens to serve up the best of the WWE franchise, per Rolling Stone. That would surely somehow push the timeliness element.
On Wrestlezone, some problems are still being aired.
"Really disappointed with 2k15 online on Next Gen. Sucks that we can't play with random people online in player mode," said one commenter. "Oh well. I've been having more fun with the Dragon Ball z game....lol"
"True, I got DBX and have played it more in 1 week than the 3 months i have had 2k15 (xb1)," agreed another.
Bandit said: "I already bought WWE 2k15 once and that was a mistake..."
The new DLC was "should be free," noted Ultron. "Or just included in with the game from the beginning," commented a responder.
But there could be more ahead for the title, suggests the International Business Times.
It reported that the 2K development team might finally working to bring back the "Create-A-Finisher" feature. Independent wrestler Chase Stevens was also motion-captured possibly to appear in the 2K16 edition with NXT's Sasha Banks.
The "WWE 2K15" was released on Oct. 28 last year 2014 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, in November for the other units. An IGN.com review rated it "Good" with 7.0, and noted that there were too many missing pieces.
