Selena Gomez Zedd New Song 2015: Bieber Over? DJ Thinks Songstress is 'Perfect'
Zedd's love for rumored flame Selena Gomez is over the moon.
In a recent interview on Power 96.1, the DJ gushed about the former Disney star while discussing their collaborative track "I Want You to Know." According to Zedd, also known as Anton Zaslavski, he never thought of another artist for the song once he heard Gomez's vocals, Hollywood Life reported.
"We started working on the song together and recorded her vocals and realized that it sounds perfect, so I never tried anyone else on the song and it happens to be the first single on my album," Zedd revealed, as quoted by Hollywood Life.
The 25-year-old DJ also added that he has been working on the track with Ryan Tedder of One Republic for a few months now, Sugar Scape wrote. When he accidentally met the songstress during a bathroom break, they started talking about collaborating on the catchy song together.
"I played her all the music that I had and she played me some of the stuff that she's been working on and we realized that there were songs that we could do together that'd sound really good," Zedd explained, as reported by Sugar Scape.
Hollywood Life noted that the duo's collaboration was so pleasant that they plan on working on more songs together, which also means that they could perform their new music on talent shows such as "The Voice," "American Idol," and "Dancing With the Stars."
Zedd and Gomez's relationship may have just blossomed recently, but the two are not hesitant to prove it to the public. Hollywood Life reported that Zedd is planning to get matching tattoos with the "Spring Breakers" star. The DJ, who also collaborated with Ariana Grande on "Break Free," also posted a snapshot of a painting on Instagram which could be a shout out to his lady love.
A source of Hollywood Life revealed that Zedd and Gomez are determined to make their relationship work. According to the insider, "They really are trying to separate work and pleasure with adding in their own time as well because to support the song they will have to be around each other constantly."
Zedd also attended Camilla Cabello's birthday party a few days ago, along with Gomez and her closest gal pals such as Taylor Swift and Hailee Steinfeld.
Despite Gomez's steady path to moving on from ex Justin Bieber, the Canadian crooner still insists that he misses the brunette beauty and that he is sure that she would come running back to him. Another Hollywood Life insider claimed that Bieber is "not interested in being in a serious relationship with anyone" and that Gomez "was and is still the only girl he would consider marrying."
