"Star Wars" is one of those iconic films that, decades and generations later, is still relevant in its genre. Its significance can be seen when more speculations than ever has been going around regarding the upcoming Episode 7, and it seems that director JJ Abrams have confirmed some spoilers and plot points regarding the film.

In an interview with BBC, Abrams confirmed that some of the fan-made theories are, as it turned out, accurate. He said, "There are a ton of rumors - some true, some false. But I'm grateful for everyone who would want to read a spoiler because it means that they care and want to see the movie. I know what it feels like, as an enormous Star Wars fan myself."

However, other than confirming that some of the fan theories are true, the director refused to go into the specifics in order to preserve the story for the audience.

Here are some of the most talked-about spoilers to date:

According to the International Business Times, there is a possibility of a young Luke Skywalker appearing in a flashback, to be played by Robert Boultee. A report from the Making Star Wars website noting that the person who is sometimes referred to as "The Young Original Warrior" is in the master character list, however, the site also made it clear that nothing is certain about this yet.

Another rumor, as noted by Christian Today, includes the death of Harrison Ford's character, Han Solo. He is allegedly killed by Kylo Renn (possibly Adam Driver) in front of Finn (John Boyega), Rey (Daisy Ridley), Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), and BB-8 while on the walls of The Evil Castle. This rumor has been refuted however, as it has been said that Disney will not bother to convince Ford to return if they're planning on killing him this early in the series.

Abrams may have admitted to some of the spoilers being true, however, Screen Crush noted that Abrams has also admitted to using disinformation campaign to throw people off-course. This means that people in the know are leaking things that are not even true, just to steer people away from real information.

Do you think a young Luke Skywalker will be making an appearance? Would it be more likely than seeing Han Solo get killed?

"Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" will be in theaters on December 18, 2015, and until then, nobody outside production can be sure which of the rumors are true.
