The Nokia Lumia 520 has maintained itself as the top Windows Phone device worldwide for a consecutive month based on new data published on Nov. 27.
According to AdDuplex, the Lumia 520 held 26.5 percent of the global market share among Windows Phone devices.
AdDuplex's Alan Mendelevich noted the Lumia 520 grew its market share by 3.3 percentage points to finish the data collected on Nov. 22.
The Lumia 520 was able to fend of competition from Windows Phone devices such as the Nokia Lumia 920, Lumia 720, and Lumia 521, to name a few.
The Lumia 920 finished a distant second place with 8.8 percent of the worldwide Windows Phone device market share, which just 0.2 percentage points higher than the Lumia 620's 8.6 percent.
The Lumia 710 edged out the Lumia 720 with 6.2 percent to 5.6 percent, respectively.
The worldwide Windows Phone devices ranks coincidentally featured only Lumia smartphones.
Among devices utilizing the Windows Phone 8 operating system, the Lumia 520 increased its market share to 35.3 percent.
The Lumia 920 also maintained second place with 11.7 percent, narrowly ahead of the 11.4 percent for the Lumia 620.
The Lumia 720 and Lumia 820 almost tied for fourth place but received 7.4 percent and 7.3 percent, respectively.
Unlike the overall Windows Phone device market share ranks, the Windows Phone 8 statistics show non-Lumia devices such as the HTC 8X and HTC 8S, which finished at eighth and ninth places, respectively.
AdDuplex's latest figures were based from 2,087 Windows Phone apps running on AdDuplex SDK version 2 on Nov. 22.
