Nick Young & Iggy Azalea News: Rapper Says BF’s a 'Sleep Farter'
Iggy Azalea, in an interview with "#TheCruzShow" on Power 106 FM, gamely revealed a not-so-good sleeping habit of live-in boyfriend Nick Young.
Host J Cruz asked: "Iggy, who's the sleep farter out of you two?"
It did not take too long before the guest star answered, "Definitely Nick."
That was basically a foul on the Los Angeles Lakers star, noted TMZ Sports, but a foul that Young conceded to, in responding, "I take that," via phone.
In comparison, he elaborated, Azalea was too much of a lady to be the sleep-farting type.
"You know, she's a lady. She's a lady, I take it," he said.
"Yeah, I tape my butthole at night," Azalea joked.
According to the Power 106 FM website, it was actually in the host's character to ask those crazy questions, because his passions include hip-hop and comedy.
Given that he was actually a "die-hard" Lakers fan, he must have been having the time of his life.
He jumped at the opportunity to ask about the Chevrolet 1962 Impala Azalea bought for Young on Christmas.
"What a gift," Cruz said.
Iggy then commented: "Thank you. The only problem with it is that Nick doesn't know how to turn it off so he leaves the dash on all the time and then we have to jumpstart it every time."
So how exactly did she get that car?
"It's Craig's List," Young quickly joked.
Azalea then explained: "No, no. I didn't, actually. I went to these guys who make all the cars for 'Fast & the Furious,' and I was in 'Fast & the Furious," I think it was 7... so that's how I got that contact."
According to her, these people had multiple copies of some old-school models, and we're based in Los Angeles.
"And I said, 'Hey, I'd actually like to get some sort of Fastback' and they said, 'Nick's not gonna be able to fit in that, but how about convertible?' and they had this awesome 62 Impala so I loved that one."
Towards the end, Azalea said Young was a very messy person at home.
And the footage ended abruptly just after Young responded that it was the rapper's habit to take her anger out on him, so we do not know if the interview ended in flames.
What we definitely know, from LA Times, is that the small forward would not appear in the Wednesday game versus Utah Jazz at EnergySolutions Arena due to a swollen left knee.
Young was already unable to join the morning shootaround and even the practices for Monday and Tuesday, the report said. He noticed the problem after a Sunday game against the Boston Celtics.
"It's better but it's still some swelling in there," said coach Byron Scott, as quoted by LA Times. "We'll just see how he feels tomorrow."
