Kids Choice Awards 2015 Vote & Nominees List: Meryl Streep Gets First Nomination!
For people who watch awards shows other than those that air on Nickelodeon, Meryl Streep is one of the greats - she's amazing at everything she does. Kids, on the other hand, are just figuring out how cool she is, because for the first time ever, she was nominated in the Kids' Choice Awards for her role in "Into the Woods."
According to E! News, Nickelodeon released the complete list last Friday, and the three-time Oscar winner is up on the list, together with other Kids' Choice newbies, Angelina Jolie, Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, Chris Pratt, and Channing Tatum.
Unlike other awards programs, Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards are not screened and selected by critics and studio execs. Real kids get to vote for the winners in 21 different categories from film, television, music, games, and books - so it's purely for its entertainment and performance value, no Hollywood politics involved.
