Oscars 2015 Nominations, Host & Date: Watch Live Stream of Academy Awards Plus TV Details & Info
The best and biggest films of 2014 will be honored at The Oscars on Sunday, February 22, and no matter where you are in the world, you can catch it live online, as long as you have an ABC TV channel.
This year's Academy Awards will be streamed live on different apps, including the WATCH ABC app that will include the coverage of the red carpet arrivals and behind the scenes.
Viewers can see the show live by clicking the "Watch Live" section on the app, or by watching through ABC.com. A participating TV provider account is also needed: it could be Comcast, AT&T, U-Verse, Verizon FiOS, and COX,
E! Online is also going to air a pre-show coverage at 1:30PM ET, and the online app will allow subscribers to watch the red carpet arrivals, award predictions, celebrity interviews, and even show photos of the celebrities.
If you're from anywhere else in the world (Canada, UK, Australia, etc.,) you can check here to see where you can watch the show live, and at what time it will be available in your time zone.
According to Inquisitr, among the list of nominees for this year's show include Bradley Cooper, Julianne Moore, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Meryl Streep.
As noted by CNN, the biggest awards show will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, who has been a hit when he previously hosted other big awards shows over the years, including the Tonys and the Emmys. This isn't his first time on the Oscar stage either: NPH opened the show back in 2010. However, this is his first time hosting.
Bound to be one of the longest shows in television, this year's Oscars will boast 42 presenters including Chloe Grace Moretz, Ansel Elgort, Shirley McLaine, Oprah Winfrey, and David Oyelowo.
Oh, and Adele Nazeem's friend, John Travolta, is also going to be back, probably to redeem himself as a presenter in the Awards show. Last year, he famously muddled up Idina Menzel's name before the singer sang the hit song, "Let It Go".
There will also be a lot of singing: Common and John Legend's "Glory" from "Selma"; Tegan and Sarah's "Everything is Awesome," from "The Lego Movie"; Glenn Campbell's "I'm Not Gonna Miss You,"; Dianne Warren's "Grateful" from "Beyond the Lights,"; and Adam Levine's "Lost Stars" from "Begin Again."
