‘DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition’ PS4 Xbox One Release Date, Gameplay & Trailer: Graphic Updates Announced
Fans of the action-adventure game "Devil May Cry" are bound for a real treat this year, GamesRadar thought.
Considering the enhancement of "DmC" for current-gen consoles, the outlet predicted that it "might be the most appealing remake of 2015" -- not to mention the arrival of DLCs and new features.
DLCs appear to be the trend most recent video games are pressing for, so we'll certainly be on the lookout.
Followers would know that "DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition" is expected to run, visually, at 60 fps. However, a recent report from GamingBolt has revealed that the game's framerate may not be locked.
Producer Rey Jimenez told the source, "We are not claiming that the game is going to run locked at 60fps. That being said, I can attest that the game runs very reliably at 60fps."
Nevertheless, Jimenez expressed that he didn't find glitches while playing the game himself.
The producer went on to explain that "After personally playing the game all the way through all through development, I can honestly say that the times the title drops frames are so rare that I barely notice it ever happening at all. The technical team at QLOC did a fantastic job of hitting our performance goals and hit them much earlier than I anticipated."
Developed by Ninja Theory and published by Capcom, "DmC" is also expected to run at full 1080p resolution. Though not officially supported among current-gen consoles, Jimenez told the Examiner that his team has been working with Unreal Engine 3. The technology is being adapted to work in 64-bit.
According to the outlet, most consoles deliver an acceptable framerate of 30fps, but 60fps will obviously provide a better experience in terms of precision and smoothness.
Meanwhile, the game's character Dante has also been hinted to arrive with a more mature disposition -- quite literally.
As told by Stevivor, the producer dropped, in a recent YouTube dialogue, "Lets get Dante in his late 40's or 50's. Lets get the Indiana Jones kinda adventure where he's a bit older, wiser and calmer. See how he acts then, you know?"
"DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition" hits the PS4 and Xbox One on Mar. 10, PlayStationLifeStyle said. Priced for $39.99, the game may be preordered here and here.
Those interested to get a gameplay peek may drop at Vergil's Bloody Palace here, a mode featuring 60 levels of varying difficulties.
