'Transformers 5' Release Date, Cast & News Update: Plot Spoilers Leaked by Hasbro Toys?
Hasbro toy company may have just leaked important spoilers for the upcoming film "Transformers 5."
According to Air Herald, Hasbro has booked a deal to create a toy line for Transformers, and with the release of the toys, it was shown that Optimus Prime has joined forces with the Dinobots' leader, Grimlock. Grimlock and Prime, the toy versions, were both "riding on the dinosaur shaped beast's back [sic]."
However, this new revelation could not really be that surprising because Grimlock has previously joined the Autobots when they were taking out the Decepticons in Texas, Chicago and Detroit, the report noted.
The interesting part, on the other hand, was how Optimus Prime had a revamped look, which could be an implication that he will have upgrades in the next film. The Optimus Prime toy version was donned in a Silver Knight costume, Air Herald added.
Meanwhile, E! Online has reported that Megan Fox might return to the franchise and work with Mark Walhberg.
It can be recalled that Megan Fox had to be replaced in Transformers 3 because of her misunderstanding with former director Michael Bay. It has been confirmed that Bay would no longer fill in the director position. Meanwhile, there are still no word about Fox's return.
Fox recently starred in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" which was directed by Jonathan Liebesman and produced by Bay. According to Enstarz, there is a possibility that Liebesman might replace Bay in "Transformers 5."
Bay Spoke with MTV and shared his thoughts on the franchise. "There's a lot that's unexplored, but that's for the next director to figure out," said Bay.
He also emphasized that it takes a lot of effort to create action films like "Transformers."
"They're hard movies to do and it takes every day for two years. They're fun, but they're hard," Bay thought.
Bay also said that outside "Transformers," he is looking at other possibilities to broaden his experience. The director added that he will be willing to take a new direction in new projects.
"There's kind of a new chapter, a new direction in movies I want to make," said Bay. "I have a lot of stories to tell. And it's about flexing new muscles." Sources are claiming that Bay wants to finally settle down and work on a passion project -- a documentary about elephant poaching -- an undertaking he's mentioned in the past."
So far, the plot for "Transformers 5" has not been revealed yet. But, according to speculations, the sequel will be about the Maximals' and the Predacons' rivalry.
