Selena Gomez New Song 2015: 'I Want You to Know' Feat. Zedd Announced
Fans of Selena Gomez's music are in for a treat. She recently announced her much awaited collaboration with Zedd.
The 22-year-old singer-actress shared the news on her Instagram page. In the photo, Zedd can be seen wearing a classic suit with Gomez leaning flirtatiously from behind.
According to Daily Mail, the "Come and Get It" singer and Zedd, also known as Anton Zaslavski, will release their collaborative track titled "I Want You to Know" on February 22. The image was originally captioned as: "Harry to my Sally #Feb22 #IWYTK," in reference to the classic 1989 romantic comedy film starring Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal. The caption was later edited to, "[smiley face] #IWYTK."
The rumored couple has been posting pictures on their respective Instagram accounts for quite some time now, teasing fans on their upcoming single. Daily Mail reported that the music video for the song could have disco as its theme. The former Disney actress showed snapshots of herself on Instagram dressed in a glittery top and 70s-style aviators.
Hollywood Life also reported casting notices "asking for extras of all ethnicities, ages 21-28 for a 1970's or 1980's glam theme." Shooting the music video could also be the reason why the pair didn't show up at the Grammys on Sunday, Daily Mail noted.
Ryan Tedder of One Republic also spoke to Billboard about Gomez and Zedd's collaboration. According to the musician, "I'll leave it at this: I have a good feeling you might hear it before the end of the month. The new Zedd-Selena record that has been buzzing about? That's my song."
He added, "[Zedd] crushed it. I went on a run today and listened to it on repeat in my headphones. And Selena did a bang-up job. She killed it."
To further fuel the speculations about their real status, Zedd reportedly flew to Atlanta to visit Gomez while she was filming her upcoming film alongside Paul Rudd, "The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving." The two were also spotted hanging out together several times, including a bowling night and "a double date with Zac Efron and Sami Miró," Daily Mail noted.
Justin Dissing Selena and Zedd? Calls It A Rebound
Gomez looked incredibly happy in the company of Zedd, but one man certainly wasn't - and it's no other than her ex, Justin Bieber.
According to Hollywood Life's sources, Bieber said that his ex-flame "will eventually come to her senses" and come back to him. The "Baby" singer also added that Gomez is "in a rebound relationship" with the DJ.
"He's not worried, but most of us know he's bummed. He hides it and is good at pretending like he doesn't care, but we know he does," Hollywood Life's source revealed.
