'Glee' Season 5 Episode 7 Spoilers: Kurt Books His Band's First Gig, Cast Becomes 'Puppet Masters' [Video]
On the latest episode of "Glee," Blaine and Sam took a trip to NYC and the New Directions channeled their inner Billy Joel.
In "Movin' Out," Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Blaine (Darren Criss) head to the Big Apple to visit colleges. Blaine gets cold feet about his NYADA audition and considers going pre-med instead, but Kurt (Chris Colfer) convinces him that he should audition.
Sam realizes that college isn't for him, and reveals his secret dream: to become a male model. He gets some glamour shots taken and heads to a modeling agency, where Tyra Banks makes a guest appearance. Sam realizes that it will be a tough road ahead, but he's determined.
Back at McKinley, Jake (Jacob Artist) tries to apologize to Marley (Melissa Benoist), but Marley is still furious about his two-timing ways. Ryder (Blake Jenner) then woos Marley and takes her on a date. Yet, he is a tad too eager and a bit clingy, which makes Marley unsure about starting a relationship with him.
Meanwhile, Artie (Kevin McHale) convinces Becky (Lauren Potter) to consider going to college, and takes her to visit a college with a program for students with Down syndrome.
In between the characters' stories, they belted out classic Billy Joel tunes, such as "Just the Way You Are," "Piano Man" and "You May be Right."
On the next episode, "Puppet Master," "Blaine believes he has the best plan to win Nationals, but he doesn't take the glee club's criticism too well when the students accuse him of being too controlling. Over in New York, Kurt also runs into control issues when the band disagrees over the venue of their first official gig that Kurt booked. Meanwhile, Sue reveals the story behind her iconic tracksuit and gets in touch with her feminine side in the all-new "Puppet Master" episode of GLEE airing on Thursday, Nov. 28."
After the puppet-centric episode airs on Thanksgiving night, "Glee" will air its winter finale, "Previously Unaired Christmas." In the episode, Rachel (Lea Michele), Kurt and Santana (Naya Rivera) will work as Santa's elves, and will also appear in window displays. Meanwhile, Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) will show a holiday special that Fox refused to air last year, in which the New Directions audition for roles in the school's living nativity scene.
Watch the promo for "Puppet Master," which airs Thursday, Nov. 28 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
