'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' PS4, Xbox One, PC Release Date & Preview: Gameplay Trailer Pretty Impressive!
Sony PlayStation has unleashed the official gameplay trailer of its upcoming fighting game "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," and it boasts stunning game visuals that is likely to impress the fans, Forbes reported.
"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is the sixth installment of the "Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm" series developed by CyberConnect2 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The official gameplay trailer was released a few days ago and it showcased the memorable fight between Madara Uchiha, the leader of the legendary Uchiha clan, and Hashirama Senju, the esteemed first Hokage.
The company also offered an explanation for the trailer, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.
"What you've just witnessed is how boss battles will play out in the game, with story and drama interwoven with frenetic gameplay," they stated, and shared that the trailer showed Madara and Hashirama's friendship crumbling. "Their ideals clash and emotions run high as they both understand there is no turning back!"
The trailer showcased the fluid combat skills of both ninjas, complete with quick time events that give it an epic feel and displaying the improvements to the game's combat features and graphics. However, Bandai added that there were additional perks, such as how opponents can use their fallen enemies' weapons.
The battles also occur on two levels, one being between the two fighters and the other between their summoned giants, complete with the battles shattering the surrounding area, even the mountains.
Bandai also let writers from IGN, PlayStation Lifestyle, Game Zone and more, play a demo of the game during their press event.
The demo gameplay also featured Madara and Hashirama and test gamers were able to play as the latter. The battle was located at a forest clearing and gamers were able to see the fighters being watched by none other than the massive Nine Tailed Fox Demon.
The arena also looked tiered and sloped to give it more depth, instead of the usual flat arena, Mike Reparaz of IGN described. The fighters could run to higher ground and avoid their opponents. The gamers could also easily switch with having their players battle in either hand-to-hand combat by dropping their weapons or pick up the weapons scattered around.
The game also came with dramatic close ups whenever a fighter unleashes their super attacks, showcasing impressive graphics and effects, Reparaz added. Whenever a fighter unleashes his or her attacks and finishing moves, even their summoned beasts will fight and destroy each other, offering more excitement and even more graphics to ogle.
"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will be coming out to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC sometime later this year.
