Channing Tatum is gorgeous, and so might be his new movie.
Much to everybody's surprise, the 34-year-old actor recently tweeted a poster of his upcoming film, "Magic Mike XXL" -- flaunting his sexy, six-pack abs. Channing's fingers, pointed at his crotch, where info of the movie's release date, July 1, 2015, can be read.
Channing captioned, "Look, but you can't touch...until tomorrow. Tune in to @theellenshow! #MagicMikeXXL"
It looks like more details of the Independence week movie are out on Wednesday's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
As of press time, the actor's shirtless poster has been retweeted and favorited thousands of time already. His wife, actress Jenna Dewan Tatum, reposted it as well asking, "COMING??????"
Together with Channing, "Magic Mike XXL" casts Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer, Michael Strahan and Elizabeth Banks, the New York Daily News reported. Adam Rodriguez, Amber Heard and Jada Pinkett Smith are also taking part in the film.
For those new to the franchise, "Magic Mike XXL" is a sequel to 2012's "Magic Mike," Screen Rant reminded. The story dives into the world of male strippers, a portion of which has been based on Channing's real-life experiences. At this point, you may have known that the actor was once a stripper.
In November, Channing admitted "experimenting" on drugs in the past. As told by ABC News, the actor had ADHD and dyslexia problems in school. According to the outlet, he began stripping at the age of 19 as a college dropout.
The plot for "MM XXL" involves Mike (played by Tatum) and company on their way to a stripper convention, Screen Rant said. Movie fans could also expect something more from the story, as it has been told that the sequel would be "very different."
Speaking to The Playlist, "MM XXL" director Gregory Jacobs spilled, "What am I allowed to say? It's road trip movie, and put it this way -- it's different enough that once you see it, you'll understand why we made a sequel. No one will be accusing us of making the same movie twice."
The original film was made for a budget worth $7 million, the Daily Mail wrote. However, it has been well-received by movie buffs, eventually earning $167 million at the worldwide box office. It was directed by Steven Soderbergh.
