'Frozen 2' Release Date, Cast & Plot Rumors: Anna, Elsa & the Gang Back Together in 'Frozen Fever' Teaser Photos!

It seems that no matter how often the iconic song plays on the radio or on your playlist, fans really just can't "Let It Go."

Which is a good thing, otherwise Disney won't be releasing a short film that will serve as a sequel to their hit 2013 animation, "Frozen."

According to USA Today, "Frozen Fever" is a warmer version of Disney's biggest hit, as the Kingdom finally thaws, and the ice queen comes back with a more approachable character. Director Chris Buck explained, "It's another side of Elsa the audience hasn't seen before and we hadn't really played with in the original feature."

That's not even the best part. It seems that despite reservations late last year, the entire cast is back to play their parts, with Idina Menzel as Queen Elsa, Kristen Bell as Princess Anna, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, and Josh Gad as the loveable snowman, Olaf.

However, it is a short film, which could probably dismay the kids. The Daily Mail noted that after all, it is only seven minutes long and will be screened just ahead of Cinderella, that will hit theaters on March 13.

Gad does not seem worried about the short film being really short for the kids, though. He shared, "If history is any indicator, kids will go nuts."

With the stills recently released by Disney, it seems that Gad is right, photos of the characters are already making waves, and they have revealed the plot to the story: Anna plans on putting a party for her sister, Elsa, but it gets ruined when the Snow Queen catches a cold. Considering that Elsa can command snow and ice, you can bet it's not going to be a common cold for the magical ruler of Arendelle.

Co-director Jennifer Lee revealed, "Elsa doesn't get a cold in the usual way. She's special. Surprising things occur that wreak a little havoc."

For kids, there is more good news about "Frozen," but parents who are already tired of singing along to the song, it probably isn't so - a full-length movie sequel may still be in the works, because when Idina Menzel was asked by The Telegraph about it, she did not exactly say no. "I don't know what will happen with [the stage show] but the movie, hopefully. We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride," the Broadway veteran said.

Do you want to watch "Frozen Fever" or is it time to let all this Anna and Elsa business go? But that snowman, though...
