Drake New Mixtape 2015: The Best? 'The World is Going to Shake,' Says P. Reign
Toronto Raptors forward DeMar DeRozan revealed last year that his friend, rapper Drake, has given him a mixtape that is set to be released soon.
DeRozan said in an interview with NBA TV, "It's incredible having that type of artist of his magnitude be able to support us the way he do. Because he definitely really do support us; it's not just for show. He come in the locker room, [we] talk to him. I talked to him the other night. Actually, he said he wants to give me his mixtape that come out in January."
Drake confirmed later on in an interview with ESPN that he is indeed doing another mixtape. Back then, though, the rapper and his label did not release details about the record.
Music Times revealed just recently that Drake's camp has revealed more of the mixtape, with Canadian rapper P. Reign saying, "I think it's some of the best I've heard from him in my life, and I already know off Drake's mixtape the world is going to shake."
Drake and P. Reign have been friends for awhile now, both of whom shouted each other out on their records. Drake even appeared on P. Reign's track, "DnF."
The upcoming mixtape is the first from the rapper since 2009's "So Far Gone," which, according to MTV, was the project that propelled him to stardom.
In addition to the mixtape, Drake is also working on a full-length studio album, already sharing some of the new music in October. "Views From The 6," the title of said upcoming album, however, has no release date yet, but could probably be dropping in the spring.
Drake's new mixtape may be a blast, but another news about the rapper is less amazing, especially when porn star Mia Khalifa called him out just recently for wanting to hook up with her.
According to Hollywood Life, the porn star has nothing nice to say about the experience with a celebrity whose name rhymes with "rake." She said that the said star hit her up on Instagram and said, "nevertheless, it was flattering, but, um, his intentions were obviously clear." She giggled and went on to say, "It was so cringe worthy, the whole thing was cringe worthy."
She even referred to him as "whiny."
Oh well. It seems like Drake should just concentrate on his musical career instead of hitting up porn stars on social media. Are you excited for the release of his mixtape?
