Bruce Jenner Transitioning to a Woman: Sex Change Journey to be Shared in the Right Time, Says Kim Kardashian [Rumors]
Bruce Jenner's silence about his purported decision to physically embrace womanhood has prompted so many to fill in the gaps with their speculations, some a tad too offensive.
In light of that, stepdaughter Kim Kardashian said Monday that the whole TV family would support him all the way, reported Radar Online.
"We support Bruce no matter what," Kardashian said, as quoted from Entertainment Tonight. "I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he'll share whenever the time is right."
She added: "I feel like it's his journey to talk about."
The comments referred to a recent photoshopped In Touch Weekly cover, featuring the 65-year-old former Olympian with lipstick, blush on, long hair and women's clothing.
With the headline "Bruce's Story: My Life As a Woman," the magazine was met with outrage, reported ET Online.
A story also claimed that he would come out about his transition to The Advocate, an LGBT magazine, within 2015.
"He wants to look as glamorous as possible — full makeup with a bold wardrobe. He won't live his new life in designer clothes like the Kardashian women. He just wants his first official portrait as a woman to be classic and memorable," it said.
The Advocate had already denied that In Touch knew the arrangement — "They have no insider source with knowledge of The Advocate's planned coverage," said Matthew Breen, editor in chief, per ET Online.
Buzzfeed spotted the original photo on which Jenner's face was placed, apparently that of British actress Stephanie Beacham.
Kris Jenner, who had finalized amicably her divorce with the embattled former athlete December, told ET in an October interview that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" patriarch has been hounded by the issue for decades now.
"They've been saying that since 1976... For me, that's not my experience with Bruce," she said.
"I don't know what he's going through right now. I think he's just very happy and I think every time he makes a change in his life — whether it's emotional or physical or whatever he's doing — somebody's going to comment on whatever look you have going on for the day."
He reportedly had Chondrolaryngoplasty, and was sighted sporting nail polish or long hair, noted the first ET report. Reports have also tracked his transformation.
According to the New York Daily News, the issue reflects how trivial transgender issues are, saying: "Jenner has gone from an American Olympic hero to a national punch line."
Meanwhile, many others in the family threw in their support for their father.
"Brandon and Brody [Jenner] will continue to support their dad, and if does indeed, make the transition to being a woman, their feelings for him won't change," another Radar Online report said, quoting an unnamed source.
Kardashian had also posted on Instagram a photo of the Kardashian family, captioned "Family first."
