Rihanna New Album 2015: 'R8' Release Date Soon? 'FourFiveSeconds' Song feat. Kanye West, Paul McCartney Released!
A few weeks ago, Kanye West and Paul McCartney made waves with their single, "Only One." Now, the pair has teamed up again, but with a female singer in the mix - none other than Bad Gal RiRi.
According to Rolling Stone, Kanye gave a preview of their new song, "FourFiveSeconds" at the iHeartRadio summit in Los Angeles, after he surprised the audience with a 45-minute soliloquy about his "responsibility to innovate." He then turned to play the song straight out of his computer, then slammed his laptop shut and walked off stage as he announced the release date.
People, on the other hand, noted that the trio "pulled a Beyonce" as they released the new single unexpectedly. The song, which is now available on iTunes, marks Rihanna's first release in over two years, since "Unapologetic" in 2012.
In her soulful voice, Rihanna sang, "I think I've had enough / I might get a little drunk / I say what's on my mind / I might do a little time / 'Cause all of my kindness is taken for weakness."
She's accompanied by West on vocals while the Beatles legend provided keyboards to the tune.
Although the collaboration between West and McCartney is not the first, fans should not be surprised if more songs from both artists will air soon. Following the release of "Only One," West's rep said that it would only be the first "publicly available recording from what has become a prolific musical collaboration between these two legendary artists."
According to Star Pulse, there is no word yet on which album "FourFiveSeconds" will appear on, but it seems that it will most likely drop as part of RiRi's album, R8. Celebuzz reported that Rihanna tweeted about her collaboration with McCartney with a link to her website.
It seems that Rihanna is doing well with the lads lately. Besides her latest collaboration with McCartney and West, RiRi's love life is also abloom with a relationship with Leonardo diCaprio, which, according to Boston Herald, are having fun together, no strings attached.
Their relationship, although relatively new, is a long time coming as the website reported that DiCaprio has had his eye on the singer as far back as 2009, when he saw her at an LA club Villa, and a source said that he stared at the Barbadian beauty for an hour.
