WWE Survivor Series 2013 PPV Predictions and How to Watch: The Big Show Gets a Shot at Randy Orton's Championship, John Cena Defends His Title Against ADR, More (Video)

By Ed Molina| Nov 24, 2013

The build-up to the 2013 Survivor Series has been quite intense, with The Wyatts and "The Best and Beard" attempting to one-up each other with sneak-attacks the last couple of week, only to have The Wyatts beat down CM Punk and Bryan Daniels at Friday Night Smackdown. Heavyweight Champion John Cena will also have his hands full with former champion Alberto Del Rio, who attacked the champ with a chair a couple of weeks ago, focusing on Cena's recently surgically-repaired elbow to wear down the champion in their rematch from Hell In A Cell. Meanwhile, the Big Show is back and is looking for revenge against The Authority by taking WWE Champion Randy Orton's title.

Survivor Series Kick-Off Pre-Show Match: The Miz vs Kofi Kingston
The Miz has returned to his heelish ways after leaving Kofi Kingston high and dry in a tag-team match against The Real Americans, last Monday on Raw and is set to face the man he betrayed on the Survivor Series Kick-Off Show - available via YouTube.com, WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo!, Google+, Samsung Smart TVs, Xbox, Sony PS3, Pinterest or Pheed prior to the start of the pay-per-view (PPV). The Miz's awesomeness makes for a much better heel than a pushover face and will find a way to rob Kingston of a victory.

Survivor Series Elimination Match: The Real Divas - WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee, Tamina, Alicia Fox, Summer Rae, Aksana, Kaitlyn & Rosa Mendes vs The Total Divas: Nikki Bella, Brie Bells, Cameron, Naomi, Natalya, Eva Marie & JoJo
The match came about after the Monday Night Raw's Diva Musical Chair segment, last week in Nashville, eventually broke down into a melee. While this would be a great opportunity to continue building up the duo of Tamina and AJ Lee, it also presents a great chance to put the Total Divas over after E! announced they are filming a second season of their successful reality show. Tamina and AJ Lee will hold their own throughout the match but the Bella Twins and Natalya - all who have eyes on AJ's title - will end up having the last laugh, further pushing along their war against the Diva's champion and her bodyguard.

Survivor Series Elimination Match: US Champion Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Antonio Cesaro, and Jack Swagger vs. WWE Tag-Team Champions Goldust & Cody Rhodes, The Uso Brothers, and Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio - who is rumored to be wrestling despite his injury - made a surprise appearance on Monday Night Raw, making the save when CM Punk, The Usos, and the Tag-Team Champions - Goldust & Cody Rhodes - took on The Shield and The Wyatts in the main event, after the match degenerated into utter chaos. Mysterio's experience in Survivor Series-style matches will be the factor that leads his team to victory.

Intercontinental Title Match: Big E Langston (champion) vs Curtis Axel
Big E Langston has been a roll, winning the Intercontinental championship on Monday Night Raw after defeating Curtis Axel for the title. Axel has been in a bit of a rut since his manager Paul Heyman was injured by CM Punk after Hell In A Cell and his slide is likely to continue in his rematch against Langston, who will walk away with the championship.

Tag-Team Match: CM Punk & Daniel Bryan vs. The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan & Luke Harper)
Former rivals CM Punk and Daniel Bryan have been forced to team up - calling themselves "The Best & The Beard" - after repeated ambush attacks by The Wyatts. Punk and Bryan have been trying hard to stay a step ahead of the creepy clan, up until Friday Night Smackdown when the Wyatts gained the upper-hand and put a beating on them. There is no denying the two former champions have a huge size disadvantage working against Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. Yet both Bryan and Punk have shown to be resilient, always managing to find ways to outsmart bigger and stronger opponents, and will likely find a way to defeat Rowan and Harper. But Punk and Bryan must beware of Bray Wyatt, who is likely to plot a twisted scheme from his rocking chair at ringside. Expect this feud to spill over to the TLC pay-per-view next month despite a win by Punk and Bryan.

Heavyweight Title Match: John Cena (champion) vs Alberto Del Rio
This has the potential to be a really good match. Say what you want about Heavyweight Champion John Cena but he can usually step up to the quality of his opposition and throw an entertaining match despite the knocks against him. Alas, there is no way Del Rio beats the champion barring a swerve (maybe revenge by by former Money In The Bank suitcase holder Damien Sandow?) with Cena likely to keep his title at the end of the night.

WWE Title Match: Randy Orton (champion) vs The Big Show
Randy Orton is having his issues with The Authority, angry that he is not getting the "support" from management - i.e. interference from the likes of The Shield and Kane - that he feels is befitting a champion. But The Authority's unhappiness will not be enough to cost "The Viper" his title in the Survivor Series main event. No matter how angry Triple H or Stephanie McMahon get with Orton, it is not nearly as furious as they are with the Big Show after rebelling against The Authority. Kane will likely be a factor, in his new corporate role of Director of Operations, and will inevitably help "The Apex Predator" retain the WWE Title.
