Kim Kardashian Shows Major Cleavage in New Book, 'Selfish'
If there's anyone who could make money out of selfies, it's Kim Kardashian. In a new book about just that, the reality TV star flaunted her cleavage on the cover, and it's not something that you can look away from.
Kim revealed to E! News that her new book, a 352-page full-color hardcover, will feature all of her best selfies from various social media sites, and will hit the shelves on May 5, 2015. Expected to retail for $19.95, the book is being published by Rizzoli's Universe imprint.
But why this project, of all things?
It all comes from her love for her husband, Kanye. As it turned out, her valentine's gift for her hubby is one she wants to share with the rest of the world (or at least the world who would spend almost $20 for her selfies).
On Ace Showbiz, she said, "I couldn't think of what to get Kanye [for Valentine's Day] and so I was like, 'All guys love it when a girl sends them sexy pics,' So I had Stephanie [assistant] get a Polaroid and we were taking photos around the entire house ... making this cool book and it ended up turning out so cool we came up with this idea to do a selfie book so I'm going to make some super racy."
And racy it is. Kim shared the cover of her new book on Instagram, captioning it, "So proud to share the cover of my book 'Selfish,' out in May. Thank you Rizzoli for making this happen & being the best partner. A big thank you to the Donda team & Kanye for inspiring this idea & helping to design this book so I can share a decade of selfies in such an intimate & artistic way! Can't wait for you to all see this book! Xo #Selfish #Rizzoli #Donda"
The photo leaves little to the imagination as the reality star posed in a fitted nude bra with her usually contoured face and soaking wet hair.
A description on the Rizzoli website described Kim as the "modern-day personification of Marilyn Monroe" and a "true American icon," however, not everyone is as excited for the book's launch, with people asking why they would want to buy a book on selfies.
That being said, would you drop the $20 to see Kim's selfies, or would you stick to following her social media networks where there's a lot of them for free?
