The ticketed event will also feature performances from other Latin artists still unnamed at this point. Cuban natives Gente de Zona skyrocketed into international fame due to their song collaboration with Enrique Iglesias titled "Bailando." They also collaborated with various musicians last year: Henry and Maffio Santos in "Ella Me Dijo," Chino y Nacho in "Tu Me Quemas," and with Pitbull in "Yo Quiero," the news outlet noted.
Gente de Zona got their breakthrough in the music industry when they won three Grammy awards and a nomination for three Premios Lo Nuestro awards, Hispanicize Wire noted. The group will reportedly release their new album early this year. Aside from the Hispanicize Closing Night Bash, they will also participate in an exclusive artist panel's Music Track event located at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Miami.
The Hispanicize Closing Night Concert Bash, which will be held during Hispanicize Week 2015, is part of "a multi-faceted Hispanicize Music Festival that consists of special Latin music events and concerts, awards and professional development sessions," www.hispanicizeevent.com detailed. It will be directed by Katherine Johnson and Vanessa James.
Hispanicize 2015 is the result of a partnership between the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) and the Hispanicize and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
According to its website, the Hispanicize Event, now on its sixth year, is "the iconic, largest annual event for Latino trendsetters and newsmakers in journalism, blogging, marketing, entertainment and tech entrepreneurship." It also serves as a "launch pad" for new and upcoming products, technologies, marketing campaigns, movies, books, and creative ventures specifically focused on Latinos in the United States and Puerto Rico.
