'Mission Impossible 5' Release Date, Cast & Trailer: More Stunt Filming in Cayman Islands?
Not much has been said about "Mission Impossible 5" but now, new information about the upcoming installment has surfaced. According to Master Herald, protagonist Tom Cruise was spotted at the Cayman Islands, where he allegedly took a scuba diving course.
Are we bound to see some underwater action for "Mission Impossible 5," then?
Well, as with any unconfirmed report, the recent note must be taken with a pinch of salt. The above outlet went on to tell that "the rest of the crew" were not seen in the vicinity at the time of sighting. That said, the actor may only be there for personal reasons, although we still can't drop other possibilities.
Interestingly, Master Herald's sources pointed that the scuba diving course was allegedly part of Tom's rehearsal for an upcoming "scene." This scene, as fans would expect, could be another stunt we can all look forward to. After all, the "Mission Impossible" series is known for such action. It may be safe to say that this time is no exception.
If the current report is true, this won't be the first time Tom is seen physically preparing for the sequel. Back in November, the Daily Mail took note of his daredevil act across a four-engine military aircraft at RAF Wittering, Cambridgeshire.
The source wrote in detail, "The action hero, dressed in a full tailored suit in character as Ethan Hunt, scaled the aircraft while facing strong gusts from a hovering helicopter that flew low above his head."
With this, we get a clear picture of what to expect from "Mission Impossible 5." With Tom's probable dedication to learning scuba, all the more fans could be excited about the film once it releases. A change in setting certainly introduces new flavors to any action story, so we'll have to keep an eye until official word comes out.
"Mission Impossible 5" is slated to hit the big screen on Dec. 25, 2015, Cinema Blend noted. The film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie.
Aside from Tom, other cast members include Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin and Sean Harris, wrote /Film. The last three will be new additions to the installment. Harris, specifically, will be film's main antagonist, according to the Latin Post. He has participated in "Prometheus" and "Deliver Us from Evil."
