Jennifer Love Hewitt Expecting Baby No. 2!
It seems that babies are all the rage in Hollywood these days. After it was confirmed that Benedict Cumberbatch is expecting a baby with Sophie Hunter, another mainstay in show business has announced her pregnancy.
According to Us Weekly, "Criminal Minds" actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is expecting her second child with her husband, Brian Hallisay. "Jennifer and Brian are thrilled to be expecting their second child later this year," said Hewitt's rep.
The couple wed secretly in 2013 and now has a 13-month-old daughter, Autumn James. The actress certainly does not feel any difficulties while pregnant, telling Us Weekly during her first pregnancy, "I feel very lucky. Some women have really rough pregnancies. I've not had one. It's been really nice and we have been enjoying it so we feel really lucky."
And being a mother comes naturally to her as well. The Daily Mail noted that in an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the actress gushed about motherhood, telling the host, "It's really great. She smiles, she's walking, she's waddling like a little penguin, she's an overachiever just like me. It's terrifying. There's gates everywhere that I trip over."
During her first pregnancy, Jen and Brian did not know the sex of their child until she was in her arms, but maybe this time they are changing their minds about that, She told Kimmel, "People are mean to you! They're like, 'Well, then tell us what your baby is', and I'm like, 'I don't know!'"
She also brushed off comments about her body during her pregnancy. "And then they guess, which is insulting for the woman because they're like, 'You're really carrying in the backside.' I'm like, 'I have been carrying in the backside since I was 15! This is not pregnancy - it's just who I am! Or they're like, 'It's really in your boobs!' And I'm like, 'Yeah, it's been there, too, since I was 15.' They say the dumbest things. I just avoided people most of my pregnancy and after. And I was happy!."
But no matter what happens during her second pregnancy, Jen knows she has her husband to support her. She was all praises for him, telling Kimmel at the time of the interview, "He should be a male doula. He was like 'This is great. I am so proud of you right now. This is awesome, you look beautiful."
Aww, isn't that sweet?
Congratulations to the lovely couple!
