'The Vampire Diaries' Season 5 Episode 8 Spoilers: New Challenges Ahead for Vampire Gang [Videos]
Things will be pretty interesting on The CW's all-new "Vampire Diaries" set to air this Thursday.
On this week's episode, which is called, "Dead Man On Campus," Stefan admits that he thought that killing Silas would allow him to move on with his life, but that did not happen. In the meantime, Bonnie, who knew that there would be consequences for using magic, will be forced to cope with her new reality. People who want to go to the other side have to go through Bonnie, which is incredibly painful, reports Celebrity Laundry.
According to an official CW synopsis for the upcoming episode, Elena and Caroline decide to throw a big party at Whitmore College. However, their plans are interrupted when Jesse (guest star Kendrick Sampson) suddenly needs Caroline's help. At Elena's request, Damon comes up with a plan to get Wes (guest star Rick Cosnett) to answer his questions. Plus, at the party, Elena finds that she and Aaron (guest star Shaun Sipos) have a lot in common, while Caroline becomes even more concerned about Jesse.
Meanwhile, Katherine does a favor for Matt and manages to get through to Stefan, who is still struggling to overcome the events of the summer. Finally, Damon makes a terrifying discovery about a secret society, which fans won't learn more about until next week.
In a clip from the new episode, Damon is spotted walking in to tell Stefan that they've been invited to a huge college party. But, Stefan is having nightmares of drowning again. When Damon asks him if he's ok, he says he is fine despite the fact that his finger tips are spotted going through his chair.
For viewers who are wondering if Katherine will recover, E! Online revealed that things aren't looking good for the sassy vamp-turned-human, which means she'll have to rely on those around her for help.
"As Katherine grows weaker, Nadia is fighting to take care of her and have her in her life," said Nina Dobrev, who plays Katherine on the show. "You learn [Katherine] wants to have that relationship, but she keeps screwing it up." But it seems like Dobrev's workload might not lessen anytime soon as she spills to us, "Now they're alluding to a fourth [doppelgänger], although we haven't done anything, so I can't say if that's going to happen for sure."
