Jordan 6 'Infrared 23' Release Date & Price: Where to Buy?
In keeping with the "black" on Black Friday, Nike will have a predominantly black colorway on its roster of releases for Nov. 28.
According to Nike.com, Air Jordan 6 Retro "Black/Infrared23" will be available at 8 a.m. EST at a limit of one pair per customer, for $185.
The websites notes that the model is a throwback to the pair Michael Jordan wore on his first championship.
"This shoe is one of many significant sneakers in the Air Jordan signature series," Sneaker Bar Detroit said in its YouTube review. "That's mainly because he won his first championship wearing these, as well as his finals MVP."
"The Air Jordan 6 is the first Air Jordan to not have the Jumpman logo on the tongue and the last Air Jordan that had the Nike Air branding on the heel. The Air Jordan 6 came in five original colorways — black and infrared, white and infrared, white and maroon, white and sport blue and white, black and carmine," it said, adding that the new model gives a modern twist to the black and infrared colorway.
The underlay was made reflective, the Nike.com report said.
The online store will not accept phone orders, so don't wait for 8 o'clock by the phone.
The shoes are available in sizes 7-13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18. It is also available in family sizes - gradeschool (3.5Y-7Y), preschool (11C-13C, 1Y-3Y) and toddler (2C-10C) at varying prices. They sell for $130, $80 and $60, respectively.
Weartesters, also calling the colorway by its nickname "Bred," has a comprehensive list of where to buy the products, with infant sizes.

The Sole Collector said around a week ago that the colorway leads up to the release of the highly anticipated Air Jordan 11.
According to the same, the last release of the "Black/Infrared23" was in 2010, as part of the "Infrared Pack." The new release appears to have a better shade of infrared and the 3M reflective underlay, it added.
The discussions on Sole Collector are interesting.
"To the people complaining about the price... You all have choices!" said commenter TRUTH, referring to an issue of overpricing.
Meanwhile, IpreferOG's said, "We need a picture of the back of the shoe. So we know if that stupid jumpman logo is going to be there. I bet it will be," about the divisive Jumpman logo.
On all the ruckus, Radiotrench said: "Why can't you guys just be happy about the shoe coming out? For me man it's still like Christmas every time I open a new box, it's that new smell, wearing them around for the first time, it's a rush. But all I see is people complaining 'there's no nike air logo' this or 'the quality is shit fuck you JB' that."
