'The Walking Dead' Season 5 Spoilers, Promo, Synopsis: Midseason Finale 'Deadly'
The midseason finale of "The Walking Dead" is upon us, and it will be deadly, as expected.
The eighth episode, and the last for this year, is scheduled to air on Sunday, November 30, Wet Paint reported. It will be titled "Coda" and according to a mini synopsis announced by AMC: "New enemies disregard rules and morals; although Rick wants to find a peaceful agreement, the enemies seem to prefer a more violent resolution."
Before "Coda," the zombie drama will first air Episode 7 titled "Crossed." After the holiday break, "The Walking Dead," will return on February 8, 2015, Wet Paint noted.
The Hollywood Reporter noted that the human vs. human confrontation that will be featured in the upcoming episodes will surely keep fans on the edge of their seats. In the latest episode, THR added that Carol was taken into the Grady Memorial Hospital after being hit by a car. It was known that the hospital is where Beth is being held, and it's highly likely that Daryl and Noah will save her and Carol from the clutches of Dawn, the leader of Grady Memorial. Abraham's team, including Beth's sister Maggie, will reportedly return to Rick's group in the church to raise arms against Dawn and her team.
Robert Kirkman, the show's creator, told The Hollywood Reporter that "This confrontation is definitely going to be substantially different from the confrontation with The Governor (David Morrissey) or Gareth (Andrew J. West)".
"We do continue to evolve these human-to-human conflicts in very interesting ways, and this is no different. There are going to be some pretty unexpected events in our midseason finale, which is as it should be. On a scale of one to 10, I'd say [the midseason finale is] pretty deadly," Kirkman added.
'The Walking Dead: Crossed' Sneak Peak and Synopsis
The official synopsis of "Crossed" released by AMC is stated as follows: "The group is spread thin with some members holding down the church and the others on a rescue mission."
According to another article from Wet Paint, there are only speculations about what will truly transpire between Rick and Dawn's respective groups as the show's midseason comes to a close. Episode 7 will reportedly lead into the hospital confrontation that will be the central plot of Episode 8.
