'Scandal' Season 3 Episode 8 Spoilers: Will Olivia Reunite With Her Mom on 'Vermont if for Lovers, Too'?
Looks like "Scandal" fans will be in for a surprise in the upcoming all-new episode on Thursday.
In the upcoming episode of the political thriller series, viewers will find out that Olivia Pope's mother is alive and is demanding to see her daughter. Olivia originally believed that she died in a car crash when she was a little girl.
Also in the episode, which is entitled, "Vermont is for Lovers, Too," Quinn continues her downward spiral as Cyrus plots to take down Sally without considering the possible harm he could inflict on himself, reports IMBD.
Olivia and the team are going to try to uncover both the truth behind Operation Remington in addition to managing a potential crisis with the Josie Marcus campaign. In the meantime, Quinn will fall further down the rabbit hole with Charlie.
In a recent interview with TVLine, the actress Bellamy Young (who plays First Lady Mellie Grant) revealed that the show's creator Shonda Rhimes knows exactly when the hit ABC series will come to an end. When asked whether her character will end up with Fritz or happy and triumphant, Young said "I'm greedy, so I want both. I want her happy. In my perfect world, I'm president and Fitz is the First Gentleman and he loves me."
She added, "As we said on our show, life is not a fairy tale. So, golly, I don't know. But knowing Mellie, she's a born survivor. She's born to fight. I think she would choose Fitz, because he is a harder get and she's always going to try for the brass ring."
'Scandal' S3E8 is scheduled to air on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 10 p.m. on ABC. In the meantime, check out a sneak peak below.
