'Fast and Furious 7' Trailer, Cast & Release Date 2015: Paul Walker Action Stunts Impress in Video Teaser
The wait is finally over. The trailer for "Furious 7" is here, and it features late actor Paul Walker and fellow actors in gut-wrenching action stunts.
Lead stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and other cast members of the hit action movie franchise made an appearance at the Universal Studios in Hollywood to grace the trailer premiere, reports E! Online.
According to another report from E! Online, the trailer shows the lead characters -- Dominic Toretto (Diesel), O'Connor (Walker), Letty Ortiz (Rodriguez), Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), and Tej Parker (Ludacris) sitting in cars revving up their engines while inside a four-engine transport plane.
"Just when you didn't think it could get any better, huh", Walker says in the trailer and then proceeding to do a massive car stunt, as seen in the trailer above. The clip ends with Dom saying "I don't have friends; I got family", followed by a close-up of Walker.
The trailer also features returning cast members, Dwayne Johnson, Luke Hobbs, Jordana Brewster and Jason Statham, who plays as the villain, Ian Shaw, seeking revenge on Dominic and his crew for the death of his brother, Owen Shaw, E! Online added. Kurt Russell also made an appearance in the trailer. Meanwhile, singer, Iggy Azalea, had a special cameo role in the film.
Moving on without Walker
For 13 years, the "Fast and Furious" actors have formed a special bond together -- they consider each other family, Entertainment Online adds. That's why it was a huge blow to the cast when Walker died in a tragic car accident in Los Angeles on November 30, 2013. He was in the middle of shooting the seventh installment of "Fast and Furious" when he passed away when he was only 40 years old, noted Entertainment Online.
However, ET Online reported that the movie continued filming even with the absence of Walker, but his brothers stepped in as the actor's body doubles in his honor.
"We lost a special person, a special angel," Diesel said during the trailer launch in reference to Walker, as cited by E! Online.
When asked by ET Online about what he felt while shooting the film after he lost his good friend, Diesel said, "When you've worked with someone for 15 years and you know each other's idiosyncrasies and you've created magic together for so long, it's a strange thing to mourn that person and simultaneously pretend that person is next to you."
"Furious 7" is set to premiere in theaters on April 15, 2015. Some parts of the movie were reportedly filmed in Abu Dhabi. Others were shot in Los Angeles, Georgia, Canada, and Japan.
